It’s an healing experience. It’s all about how you feel in the moment and what needs to be expressed. What comes out of your psyche while engaging in your work is intuitive, and when you allow your intuition to guide your colors and strokes, you will be in a flow of freedom while painting. The healing will start to flow when you allow the work to be what it wants to be, without criticizing. Before you can be free, you must get past your inner critic that says, “this is bad.” It’s hardly about the end result and all about the experience.
My first body of Intuitive Painting was abstract portraits, mainly of family members.
