I’m an artist, designer, teacher, and writer living in southern California. In 2005, my life drastically change after I learned how to paint abstract art. It was completely freeing to play with colors and brushstrokes and shapes that didn’t need correct shading. It was so fun to just push the colors around on my paper, watching how the colors blend into each other.

My first body of work was abstract portraits, mainly of family members. I poured out raw feelings into my art. From my paintings and journal entires, I have dug into my psyche to bring clarity and wisdom to my spirit. I also teach others how to use my method. My work isn’t about painting pretty pictures. It’s about painting the invisible energy that streams between every living thing. I have always known that art is a creative and intuitive tool that all can enjoy.
