Prayer Paintings
Offering a prayer through an abstract painting stirs up positive energy within the person’s psyche. Here’s an example:

I am ready to paint a picture for my niece to infuse her with good, positive thoughts and energy so she can switch her negative thoughts into positive ones. I want the painting to give her encouragement when she wants to be better at something, like basketball or her homework. She was frustrated because since basketball season started, she spent most of her time during a game sitting on the bench. I wanted this painting to help her push the bad words out and allow positive words to surface. Yellow and magenta come to mind. While painting, I offered up this prayer: “You are a beautiful girl, inside and out…. Be confident in you and know there is peace when you quiet your mind… When you are frustrated or feeling sad, allow positive thoughts to come to you. These thoughts will … put you on a clear path to be who you are and to accomplish what you want.”

Outcome: Four days later during her next basketball game, she made her first two baskets with the whole crowd, teammates and spectators, cheering her on.

Abstract Portraits
My painting process works with invisible energy. While I merge colors, personal dynamics are clear. My inner wisdom reveals insights to help you understand your self-concept and how you interact with a loved one. Your renewed beliefs improve your inner relationship and, in turn, improve your outward one.

Here’s how it works. We start with a fifteen minute conversation about a loved one you need to understand better. Email a photograph your loved one, either alone or with your self included. From your photo, I create an abstract drawing of overlapping facial features. Intuitively, I choose colors that represent your energy. While I paint, insights arise that will help you relieve inner conflicts. When the portrait is complete, I email a jpg with a brief resolution. In one painting, your relationship begins to mend from within.

Carolyn commissioned an abstract portrait of her mother and herself as an infant. From this photo, I first drew facial features in my abstract method, then, colors were selected intuitively. During my process, my inner wisdom spoke about their relationship and thus provided Carolyn a peaceful connection with her mother. With this portrait hanging in her home and each time she glanced at this painting, Carolyn continued to receive healing energy and comfort.
